I don’t particularly care for Gin. I prefer a Vodka Martini but that doesn’t make for a catchy title. Using the bottom of a Martini glass as a template I cut out circles from suminagashi paper I made in my bathtub at my old apartment on West 30th street in Manhattan in 2010. During the height of lockdown brought back familiar memories and drinking was at an all time high. Seeking solace in my work I collaged old scraps of prints I had made in my manhattan bathtub. Most of this series has been mysteriously lost except for a select few, given to friends & colleagues.
